Portus Data Center Munich has been offering carrier-neutral edge colocation services throughout Germany and the surrounding regions since 2020.
Our office is located just 15 km from Munich city center and is therefore easily accessible by road, rail and air. Our data center enables you to operate your high-performance, low-latency IT infrastructure effectively and efficiently, which is crucial for your business.

Performance

Cooling
- A fully redundant, highly efficient cooling system that uses a combination of groundwater, free cooling and compressor aftercooling.
- The racks are arranged in hot aisles to ensure optimum cooling of the servers. Hot and cold aisles are set up to manage the airflow in the most energy-efficient way.
- Industry standard ASHRAE A1.
Security
- Reinforced fence and collision protection.
- CCTV and laser protection system.
- Multi-layered access control system with PIN and biometric readers.
- Mantrap with separation system without weight control.
Fire fighting
- Very early smoke detection system (VESDA-approved).
- Smoke detectors on the ceiling and in the raised floor.

Our 4 safety zones
SECURITY is a top priority for us – after all, it’s about your data and the reliability of your IT.
This is why the 4-stage security concept of our data center is based on the “onion-skin principle”:
The “heart”, the innermost and most protected area of the data center, is the high-security area. This is where your data is stored in the data hall.
To get to the “red area”, each visitor must first cross the other areas and pass through a series of security measures. Starting with the security fence at the property boundary, specially trained security personnel, code-monitored doors, video surveillance and biometrically secured separation systems.
